Effective August 1, 2022, Laramie County Library System’s Board of Directors voted to eliminate overdue fines, remove most fees for services and materials, and forgive existing fines.

Libraries have served as a primary source of information in learning environments for ages, and because of this, school librarians strive to help broaden the minds of their student communities through diverse outreach programs.

Laramie County Library recently installed two new privacy phone booths in the Computer Center, expanding the organization’s ability to provide private space for online job interviews, webinars, virtual meetings, or tele-health calls. 

Self-measured blood pressure monitoring kits are now available for checkout at libraries in Lovell, Deaver and Frannie, and they will come to the Basin and Greybull libraries in June.
