H.R. 7661 is a government censorship bill that is heading for a vote in the US House of Representatives, and we need your help to stop it.

In the midst of the ongoing mean-spirited chaos being inflicted upon our communities, we remember and affirm that empathy and joy—and diverse books—are resistance. Vital resistance.

It’s a new year and while the people afraid of the power of books haven’t stopped banning them (three more books were just added to Utah’s state-wide bans) we haven’t stopped fighting for the freedom to read.
